About Vuna Valley Lodge
Situated close to the Mthamvuna River, a mere 5km from the well-known holiday town of Port Edward on the Hibiscus Coast of KwaZulu-Natal. Vuna Valley Lodge offers families, backpackers and adventurers’ eco-friendly, comfortable and affordable accommodation. Set in the valley under shady indigenous trees the lodge is a paradise for bird watchers. Amongst the more than 250 bird species the specials of the Umtavuna region includes the Narina Trogon, African Finfoot, the African Grass Owl, and the African Fish-Eagle which attracts visitors keen to encounter the rare birds. The rarely seen mammals such as the Samango monkey and dwarf gecko offer sightings to patient visitors to the area. Bush buck and blue duiker are regular visitors and lucky guests lounging at the pool may find the four-legged visitors nibbling at indigenous shrubs in the garden.
Family friendly: We cater for families,backpackers as well as adventure seekers there are activities to offer as well as cafe service.
To secure a booking a deposit of 50% is due upon making the reservation. The balance can be paid upon arrival via cash or card.
