Situated high on the slopes of Table mountain, Tafelberg Inn has comfortable rooms with large balconies and en-suites, solar heated pool. Bordering the Cape Peninsula National Park covered with indigenous fynbos, Tafelberg Inn offers picturesque views of the city, harbor, Table Bay and Robben Island in the distance.

Tafelberg Inn is located a few minutes drive from the city centre, or for the more energetic visitor, within leisurely walking distance of the V&A Waterfront, one of South Africa's most popular tourist attractions

Tafelberg Inn offers three comfortable en suite rooms. equipped with TV, heater, fan and tea tray. Two rooms offer large, private balconies with breathtaking views of the city, Table Bay and Lion's Head, which together with Devil's Peak, guard the spectacular mile long rock-face of Table Mountain.

The third room offers views of Devil's Peak and Table Mountain. The lounge is tastefully furnished with African fabrics, complimented with a wildlife theme which exudes warmth and comfort. The breakfast room leads onto a beautifully appointed shaded mountain garden with a sparkling pool, a necessity for the end of those exiting balmy Cape summer days after one has explored the city and environs. Children 10 years + are welcome.

Having just returned home to California with time to reflect on my stay in Cape Town, I give the Tafelberg Inn B&B full marks in every way! The house was fully provisioned as advertised, squeeky clean and well managed while I was there by the very capable Loreen. Loreen attended to all my needs and wishes and took care of the house at the same time. She prepared a tasty and varied breakfast every morning, even switching more to fruit salads and yoghurt when she realized that I was not a person for large egg breakfasts.
