The colonial homestead offers affordable accommodation in homely en-suite hotel rooms and quaint self-catering cottages.
Situated in the heart of the Hogsback, King's Lodge Hotel is the ideal base from which to take in all that Hogsback has to offer. Indulge in scenic mountain walks, explore the galleries and craft shops or visit the area's justly famous gardens with their stunning displays of rhododendrons and azaleas.
We offer guided tours on request and there are also established tourist routes taking in the Xhosa and British colonial history of the region.
A wonderful getaway for all ages, Hogsback is both a rejuvenating and relaxing escape from the hum-drum of city life. The King's Lodge Hotel is your home away from home.
Wedding Venues: Hogsback hosts a very quaint little chapel, see attached. Our garden is big enough for a marquee up to 150 people. We do not have our own marquee. There is a big dining hall that can accommodate up to 80 people
