About Ingwenya View

Ingwenya View is a cosy double-storey holiday house situated in the popular Marloth Park Conservancy. The house, which can sleep up to a maximum of eight people, has four bedrooms. Three bedrooms have double beds and one has two single beds. The two bathrooms have showers only. Bed linen will be supplied as required and beds made up prior to guests arrival; however, towels are not provided. The lounge has a flat screen TV, and a DStv decoder with smart card. MultiChoice's premier package can be activated for guests on request at no extra charge. This will be dependent on guests giving us 24 hours’ notice for smart card activation, and available signal; the dish sometimes loses signal due to baboon activity. The house has a dining area and the kitchen is fully equipped. There are two fridge-freezer and a microwave oven in the kitchen. There are air conditioners installed in the downstairs bedrooms with wall fans installed throughout the rest of the house. The house has an electrical feed but the stove and water heating are fed from a gas supply. The unit is serviced weekly and has an alarm system linked to the Field Security armed response. Braai facilities are provided and there is a large upstairs lookout decking over a double car port. There is a 3 x 3 x 1.1 M Splash Pool for cooling off on hot summer days.At Ingwenya View we have occasional sightings of the Big 5 from our upstairs decking with our resident hippos and crocodiles abundant in the Crocodile River. Frequent visitors to the house are zebra, kudu, impala, wildebeest, giraffe, warthog, bushbuck, mongoose, genet and bush babies, not to mention the prolific birdlife which boasts over 300 of South Africa's finest species.Children are more than welcome at Ingwenya View and are encouraged to join you, as viewing the passing animals is a memorable experience. The world famous Kruger National Park is on our doorstep and there are great views into the Kruger from the upstairs decking. The Kruger Park's Malelane and Crocodile Bridge gates are approximately 25 km from Marloth Park which allows guests to spend the day in this mesmerising park while still being able to return and light the braai, take a dip in the pool and listen to the magical sounds of the African night which often includes the call of lion both within the Kruger Park and in Marloth's very own private reserve, Lionspruit.Ingwenya View guarantees to give you the true experience of the African bushveld while enjoying and having a truly relaxing break away from the stresses of modern day life.

Safari: Wildlife roam freely through the conservancy which borders the Kruger National Park.

Ingwenya view is the perfect place to enjoy wildlife around Marloth Park and a stone throw away from Kruger National Park. The lodge is very clean and cozy. Kruger's NP crocodile river is less than a minute walk from the house. You can see elephants, hippos, girraffes or antelopes by the river.

Our overall stay was very pleasant, something totally different seeing the animals roaming around pass your house. The accommodation was neat and tidy and was well stocked with everything we needed. Will definitely go back there again next year.

We had a wonderful couple of days at Ingwenya View. Kitchen was FULLY equipped (gas stove and oven, microwave) including all the pots and pans and even plastic containers which we could use to prepare some snacks for the game drive. Beds were very comfortable. We had some visitors (zebras, kudu and warthogs). It was also very close to Crocodile River.
