Port Edward is a secret treasure on the South Coast of Natal. The main source of revenue to the town is tourism and agriculture – here all the tropical fruits grow, mostly Macadamia nuts and bananas. Also lemons, oranges, paw paws, litchis and granadillas. We have a large coffee estate here – the most southern coffee estate in the World. The climate is incredible – the coldest day in winter would be about 15 degrees and the average day time winter temp is about 23 degrees.Summer is tropical – we generally have rain throughout the year but predominantly in summer.Summer temps are the high 20`s... see more
